Job Description

Reporting to the Training & Events team, you will support the marketing and administration of all networking, training and corporate events, as well as support participant engagement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordinators with planning, marketing, coordinating, executing and following-up on training, webinars, and events
  • Assist with the creation of marketing campaigns and collateral to promote training, webinars and events
  • Provide administrative support for student registrations and inquiries
  • Conduct outreach via phone and email to invite past and prospective clients to our training, events and/or webinars
  • Support the data collection efforts of the team
  • Assist with the development of content for training, webinars, and events as needed
  • Additional tasks as required for other projects and programs within the organization

 Education and Experience

  • At least one year of post-secondary education in the field of administration, business, marketing, communications, human services or a related discipline
  • Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as general computer skills including file management and data entry
  • Experience using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong emphasis on written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for supporting professionals working in the environmental sector
