Job Description

Reporting to the Team Lead, Marketing Communications, you will support the team with a range of marketing and communications activities for ECO Canada’s products and services. At the end of your term, you’ll have gained experience in key areas such as digital advertising, content and collateral development, email marketing and nurturing campaigns, real-time data analytics and more.


  • Write content for the website, email campaigns, newsletters, blogs and more
  • Create promotional marketing campaigns and develop collateral
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns and manage contact list data
  • Run digital advertising campaigns for paid search and social ad platforms
  • Social media management - posting, monitoring, and reporting
  • Support creation of content calendars and communications plans
  • Support the data collection and analysis of the team. Report marketing metrics and key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Ad hoc marketing, communications and administrative support as needed.

Education and Experience

  • At least one year of post-secondary education in the field of business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline
  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong emphasis on written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with email marketing programs an asset (Act-On, Mailchimp etc.)
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles preferred but not required. Experience with design programs an asset (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience with website content management, development, and writing for the web an asset
  • Experience using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and knowledge of content tools (Hootsuite/Buffer)
  • Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as general computer skills including file management and data entry
