What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with Fannex Leadership and Product Development teams to actively manage, prioritize, and oversee various initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Leadership team to manage Software Development project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, quality control, monitoring, control and closure.
  • Work collaboratively with Fannex clients, Product Owners, Development Teams, and the Senior Management to support business and technical direction and approach to system design and implementation.
  • Perform various coordinating tasks including, but not limited to:
    • Project schedules
    • Risk and issues logs
    • Status reports
    • Release Notes
    • Administrative duties such as creating and maintaining project documentation, plans and reports
  • Tailor project management processes to meet the needs of individual (new and/or ongoing) projects.
  • Maintain overarching product roadmap taking direction Product Owners and Project Leads.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external support teams as needed in regard to project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with sponsors.
  • Support and assist with quality assurance testing as required to ensure product meets quality standards.

 

About you:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Two years of practical professional experience in project coordination or a similar role.
  • Proficient with MS Project or similar software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, business stakeholders, end users, management and others outside the organization.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated with ability to drive projects.
  • Experience with managing Agile teams and projects considered an asset.
  • If you have experience working with live sports and entertainment, then that would be a plus!
  • To cater to the needs of live sports and entertainment business, you may need to work evenings and weekends
