Job Description

Are you looking for a role where you will truly make a difference and contribute to a growing industry in Canada? ECO Canada is looking for performance-driven individual to join the team immediately. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Employment Programs, the successful candidate will have a passion for the environment and expertise in program evaluation and reporting.

 

As a key member of the Employment Programs team, the Program Evaluation Coordinator will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to the Employment Programs and evaluating the effectiveness of current programs. While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of his/her ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of all project reporting and ensure that proper documentation and reports are prepared and available
  • Maintain dashboard of program success metrics and results
  • Audit internal program files, processes, and procedures and make recommendations for improved efficiency
  • Consult appropriate personnel as needed to facilitate ongoing process of program design, implementation, and revision
  • Accurately analyze and interpret data from multiple sources of information and summarize into reports, documents, or presentations
  • Compile success stories and interpret program data to capture program success for government reporting
  • Examine reports to identify and correct inconsistencies or mistakes
  • Support the Employment Programs team in reaching their goals through analysis of program metrics
  • Work with assigned dashboards and spreadsheets, reviewing data to ensure all requirements have been captured (Quality Assurance)


What you bring:

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Evaluation, Finance, or similar program
  • 1-3 years of experience as a program evaluator or business analyst
  • Advanced level of computer skills, including MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with current data-gathering techniques and technology and comfortable working in a variety of online platforms such as Dynamics CRM, MS Project, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing
  • Great attitude and ability to maintain control while coordinating activities and balancing multiple priorities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Desire to work in a results-focused environment
  • Well-developed, independent work ethic along with ability to communicate with the team
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal oversight
  • Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
